Chris has worked both sides of the glass, first as a major label recording artist/ songwriter and now as Producer/Studio Manager/Mastering engineer of Midwest Music Group/Pressure Point Recording Studios. After touring the world throughout the late 80’s and 90’s recording in some of the World’s top studios he came back home, realizing Chicago needed a world class recording facility.

Partnering with investors who had the same vision, Pressure Point Recording studio was finished in 2004 and immediately awarded top studio honors of the year by Mix magazine. With a penchant for putting music first and it’s acoustically perfect rooms; Pressure Point continues to deliver an uncompromised quality to any artist that comes through the doors.

Chris also brings these ideals to the Mastering process at Pressure Point. By utilizing proprietary analog equipment, a perfectly tuned room and attention to what the client is looking for, a mix can be brought to it’s fullest potential and not just become a victim to the volume wars found in so much of today’s all digital mastering. In addition he is currently producing and partnered with in house production company, Midwest Music Group with its roster of artists and writers that have had placements in various genres nationally and internationally and is a music mentor for Chicago’s After School Matters program.
